AI automation for Dubai businesses, shipped to production
Most AI in Dubai lives in decks and stalled pilots. We build agents and workflows into the tools your team already runs, Shopify, WhatsApp, your CRM, your accounting, and have the first system doing real work in two to six weeks. Founder-led: the engineer who scopes it writes it, and you own every line.
The gap in Dubai is not ambition. It is shipping.
Seven in ten working people in the UAE already use AI on the job, the highest rate anywhere (Microsoft, 2026). Across the Gulf, only about one company in ten sees a measurable return on it (McKinsey and BCG, 2025). The difference is not intent or budget. It is whether someone wires AI into how the company actually runs, and keeps it running.
That is the whole job here. Kalpa Vision builds AI automation for UAE companies of 5 to 200 people and ships it to production: not a pilot, not a proof of concept, a system doing real work by a date we put in writing.
What the automation actually does
Every engagement starts with one question: which repetitive work should leave your team's week first? The usual answers, and what we ship for them:
- Commerce operations. COD confirmation on WhatsApp before dispatch, stock reconciled across Shopify, Noon and Amazon.ae, returns that process themselves. The full system lives on our Shopify operations page.
- Customer replies. Support and follow-ups answered from your real order and delivery data, in your customers' languages, over the WhatsApp Business API. Detailed on the WhatsApp automation page.
- Back office. Invoices read and matched, reconciliation prepared in Zoho, QuickBooks or Xero, month end reduced from a week of someone's life to a review.
- The messy middle. Agents that read unstructured inputs (supplier emails, PDFs, chat threads), decide against your rules, and act inside your systems, with a human approving anything above the line you set.
Agents where they pay, plain code where they do not
An honest studio tells you that most automation should not be an agent. Anything deterministic, syncing stock, posting a webhook, chasing a signature, is better as ordinary reliable code: cheaper to run, easier to audit, impossible to hallucinate.
LLM agents earn their keep where judgment used to force a human into the loop: reading a customs document, classifying a complaint, drafting a reply that needs context. We build the mix that survives production, not the mix that demos best.
Dashboards: your numbers live on one screen
Half of this work is doing the work. The other half is seeing it. We build live dashboards fed straight from the tools you already keep numbers in: Shopify and marketplace sales, ad spend, courier performance from Aramex or Quiqup, cash position from your accounting software.
Live means live. Not a Friday export into a spreadsheet only one person understands, but the actual state of the business, on one screen, whenever you look. Decisions stop waiting on whoever owns the spreadsheet.
A dashboard is often the right first system. It is usually the cheapest to ship, it pays back immediately in faster decisions, and it shows precisely where automation would pay back next, with numbers instead of hunches.
How an engagement runs
Fixed scope, fixed fee, agreed in writing before we start, one phase at a time. Discovery costs less than a month of one mid-level hire and ends with a one-page build map you keep either way. The first system is live in two to six weeks depending on scope.
Ownership is a mechanism, not a promise: the work lives in a repository and accounts you own from the first commit, deployed in your infrastructure, documented for handover. Where your sector requires it, we deploy in-country so your data stays in the UAE under PDPL.
The playbook is checkable. Founder Vineet Kumar was Global Technical Lead at Swedish color-lens brand SWATI Cosmetics while it grew from a lean team shipping worldwide on heavy automation he built, and he now leads global AI transformation at 2DOT4 Diamonds. The proof section sets that out, and the work page lists the systems running for clients today. On a call, we show you one on real data.
Straight answers
What can AI automation actually do in a 20-person company?
More than most owners expect, because the waste is concentrated: order confirmation, stock updates, invoice matching, customer follow-ups, reporting. We start with the single process that eats the most hours, ship it in weeks, and let the result argue for the next one. You need one process automated well, not a data team.
Do we have to replace Shopify, our CRM or our accounting software?
No. Replacing tools is how these projects die. We build into what you already run, Shopify, Noon and Amazon.ae, WhatsApp, Zoho, QuickBooks or Xero, so your team keeps its habits and the automation works with clean, real data from day one.
How is this different from the Zapier automations we already have?
Zaps are fine until they meet judgment, volume or an edge case. We write real software: agents that read messy inputs and decide, workflows with retries, logging and alerts, all version-controlled in a repository you own. When something breaks, there is a system to debug, not a tangle of triggers nobody remembers building.
Can it all run on infrastructure inside the UAE?
Yes. Where residency matters for your sector or your clients, we deploy on in-country infrastructure and design for PDPL from the start, including how prompts, logs and customer data are stored.
